A. Emergencies – Dial 9-1-1
In case of an emergency (harm to person or property), when police assistance is required IMMEDIATELY, dial 911, wait for the operator and relate the following information:
- WHERE – the problem is (location).
- WHAT – the problem is. Are weapons or vehicles involved? If so, state the type of weapon and description of the vehicle.
- WHO – is involved (number of persons and their descriptions).
- WHEN – the problem occurred or is occurring.
The operator will guide you through the questions. Try to remain calm.

In events where you need police assistance, but do not need it immediately, call Saginaw County Central Dispatch.
