The Thomas Township Police Department supports and enforces the Saginaw Countywide Curfew Ordinance. The ordinance states that no minor under the age of 17 years shall loiter, idle, wander, stroll or play in or upon the public streets, highways, roads, alleys, parks, public buildings, places of amusement and entertainment, vacant lots or other unsupervised places between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Exceptions to this ordinance shall apply to:
a. A minor accompanied by his or her parent, legal guardian or other adult person having the care or custody of the minor, or
b. A minor upon an emergency errand or legitimate business, such as school or religious activities, directed by his or her parent, legal guardian or other adult person having the care or custody of the minor.
