2025-2030 Parks and Recreation Master Plan
The Parks and Recreation Master Plan was developed by the Thomas Township Parks and Recreation Department along with the Thomas Township Parks and Recreation Commission with assistance from the Parks & Recreation staff and Spicer Group. The plan evaluates existing recreation opportunities, reviews public opinion regarding parks and recreation, and offers a five-year action plan for implementing proposed park improvements and new initiatives. The plan is also a requirement of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) in order for the City to be eligible to apply for MDNR park and recreation grant funding programs.
