Consumers Energy Flaring

Please be aware that Consumers Energy will be performing controlled burning known as “flaring” the week of April 13, 2026 near S. Miller And Dutch Road.

Vehicles hauling supplies may slow traffic or there may be road closures necessary.

You may see tall flame, hear loud noises similar to a jet engine or blow torch and smell gas odorant.  This is all perfectly normal for this process.

New Gate Near Community Park

For the safety of our residents and guests using Community Park, a gate is being installed to stop the cut-thru traffic going east to west and west to east in the parking lot (near the speed bump). With a large number of people enjoying our park and a lot of traffic on a daily basis we felt this measure was necessary to take. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but your safety is our first and foremost concern.
