July 9, 2016Annual Shields Lions Club parade takes place every Saturday of Shields Summer Festival. Parade begins at 11 am. Parade begins near Shields Elementary and ends at the Shields Men's Club Grounds on South Miller.
The parade marches westbound in the eastbound lanes of M-46 (Gratiot Road) so to view the parade, you should be on the south side of Gratiot. Please be mindful of residential properties.

July 16, 2016Brush may be taken by the homeowner to the Township brush drop off site located at the northwest corner of Gleaner and Frost Roads. No stumps, leaves, grass or commercial brush will be accepted. The site will be open from 8am to noon.
