UPDATE: ROUNDABOUT PROJECT AT TITTABAWASSEE AND RIVER ROAD!
ROUNDABOUT PROJECT UPDATE: TITTABAWASSEE AND RIVER ROADS.
As part of the roundabout project, the resurfacing of Tittabawassee Road from Curve Road to the bridge over the Tittabawassee River will be started August 11, 2025. The first of two asphalt layers will be completed at that time. Traffic will be allowed through the construction zone at this time using a flagging operation. Some mailboxes will be adjusted the first week of August to prepare for this.
Roundabout construction is scheduled to begin August 18, 2025 on the southerly portion first. RIVER ROAD WILL BE CLOSED AND DETOURED. Tittabawassee will remain open and be controlled with temporary signals through the intersection. Completion on this portion is expected around mid September with the north half being completed in the same manner directly following.
A top layer of asphalt on Tittabawassee Road will be placed along with the roundabout paving.
Project completion is anticipated to be near the end of October.
