The Consumers Energy Gas Team will be doing gas flaring in Thomas Township on Dutch Road, between Miller and River Roads on several upcoming dates, Tuesday, May 6th, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Flaring will also be done on Monday, June 2nd, Wednesday, June 4th and Thursday, June 5th in the afternoon/early evening hours.Residents may notice a rotten egg smell, as the gas is odorized as well as the sight of gas being flared.
