Program Information:
We offer F.U.N. evenings, Grown-Up Visit and Games, Little Acorns Preschool Group, and Family Fun Days on a chosen Saturday of the month (usually). There is no cost to participate, as we have a grant through Hemlock Semiconductor that covers most of our expenses. See the information below for more specifics pertaining to each program.
F.U.N. Families United in Nature):
“At this time there are no set dates and times for this program. Check the Nature Center monthly calendar below for specific dates.
Each program consists of six or so stations based on a theme. There are science/STEM activities, a craft or two, a coloring station, and a snack. Families go through the activities and participate where they’d like.

Family Fun Days: One Saturday of the month, from 11am-2 pm.

Little Acorns Preschool Group: “At this time there are no set dates and times for this program. Check the Nature Center and Preserve monthly calendar for program dates and times.” Preschoolers and their caregivers have some free play time, listen to a story, do a craft or activity based on a theme, take a little hike, and have a snack.

Grown-up Visit and Game Days: ON HOLD TEMPORARILY 10/24/2025 Typically, Wednesdays from 12-2 pm (except the first Wednesday of the month from September-May, when the senior citizen luncheon is held).
Adults of any age can come in, visit, play games, read, hike, have a snack and a cup of coffee, and enjoy the experience with other adults.
