2026 Trash & Treasures Yard Sales & Sidewalk Sales

Check back for next year’s dates for the “Trash & Treasures Community-Wide Yard Sale & Sidewalk Sale Event”.  This community-wide effort has been very successful thus far in attracting “shoppers” to the area for the numerous yard sales.  Participation in the event is effortless. You can fill out an application (which will also appear in the Township newsletter), email it to operator@thomastwp.org, or visit the Township Office at 249 N. Miller Rd. from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Once registration is received, your sale will be included on a free map provided by Thomas Township.  This map will be available online at www.thomastwp.org the week of the event.

Please be considerate of your neighbors and provide parking at your home for shoppers.  Consider asking if your neighbors want their property to be staked off to avoid foot traffic.  Let’s make this enjoyable for all.

Also being held in conjunction with the yard sales will be Business Sidewalk Sale Days.  Businesses, churches, and local organizations will be hosting various sales.  The sales will also appear on the map, and details of the sale will be on the back of the map.

REMEMBER…  Trash Collection will be EARLY during the event.  Please have all trash, recyclables, and yard waste to the curb BEFORE going to bed Thursday Night.  

PLEASE allow access to mailboxes.

Oldtown Christian Outreach Center and Goodwill will provide donation trucks and will be located at the Thomas Township Public Safety Building.  Trucks will be available.  When donating items, PLEASE try to fit the items INSIDE the truck as best as possible.
