ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/DEPUTY CLERK – Thomas Township.  Works under the direction of the Township Manager and Clerk.  Provides clerical and administrative support to the Township Manager.  Responsibilities include: elections, voter registration records, retention of Township records, resolutions, commission appointment records, oaths, FOIA requests, business licensing, meeting minutes, passports, legal notices, Township newsletter and many other duties.  Diploma or G.E.D. required.  Minimum of two years college or related work experience required.  Computer skills and responsible office administration experience required.  Experience in municipal clerk’s office preferred.  Must be able to speak and write effectively.  Full benefits.  Salary DOQ.  Submit your letter of interest, resume and three work references to Manager, Thomas Township, 249 North Miller, Saginaw, MI  48609 by November 28, 2017.  E.E.O.
