FRE PREVENTIN

At the heart of the Thomas Township Fire Department's effort to keep fires from occurring is our Fire Prevention Bureau.  Working under the direction of Fire Chief Michael Cousins, the bureau's many day to day duties and responsibilities are taken care of by  Fire Inspector Joseph Giacoletti.

The Fire Prevention Bureau's goal is the prevention of injury, death and property loss through pre-fire planning, public awareness and the educating of safe fire practices.

The Thomas Township Fire Prevention Bureau uses Fire Code Enforcement and Public Fire Safety Education to raise fire safety awareness among the citizens of Thomas Township.  For more information on Fire Code Enforcement within the Township, please click of Fire Codes.  Information about our Public Fire Safety Education Programs can be found in nearly all of the links below.

If you have any questions or would like to set up a Fire Safety Program please feel free to call the Thomas Township Fire Department at (989) 781-4141, Monday - Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
