Two firefighters honored

Congratulations are in order for two Thomas Township firefighters who were recently honored.

The Saginaw Exchange Club named firefighter Thomas Arn 2013 Firefighter of the Year. Thomas is a Fire Inspector for the department and has served since 2008. He was the department’s 2012 firefighter of the year.

The Michigan Fire Service Instructors Association named training officer Ryan Ludwick instructor of the year for the East Region of Michigan. Ryan, a nine-year veteran, is the lead training officer for the Thomas Township Fire Department.
