The 3rd Annual Community Trash & Treasures Rummage & Garage Sales Event dates for 2012 have been set. Taking place in conjunction with the Shields Men’s Club Festival which will be held June 21st through June 24th in 2012, the rummages and garage sales will take place starting Friday, June 22nd through Sunday, June 24th 2012. If you sign up free of charge, your address will be added to the free map that will be available the week of the event. It will be on the township website as well and published in the Township Times.
The community-wide event started in 2010 with 35 residents participating. In 2011, the event grew to 244 business and residents and was a huge success.
Thomas Township is excited to organize this event again in 2012 and is encouraging your participation. Sign-ups will begin in February 2012. The sign-up sheet will be available on this webpage, in the Thomas Township Newsletter, and at our office located at 249 North Miller Road. You may also e-mail your information (include your name, address of the sale, and phone number) to operator@thomastwp.org.
The maps will be distributed the week of the Trash & Treasures Event and will also appear in the Township Times the Wednesday prior to the event.
