The Lions Club Parade takes place as part of the Shields Men’s Club Summer Festival. It is held the Saturday of the festival. This years parade will take place on Saturday, June 23rd. It will begin at 11 a.m. and start at Shields Elementary and follow the two southernmost lanes of Gratiot Road to South Miller Road where it will end at the Shields Men’s Club Summer Festival grounds (Lions Club Bingo Tent). The theme for the 2012 parade is “The Great Outdoors.”
The deadline for pre-registration to participate in the parade is May 31, 2012.
