HOUSE CHECK
Security Check/House Watch
If
residents are going to be out of town for more than seven days, they may
wish to consider
taking advantage of the departments
security check/house watch service while they are away.
An officer will make random checks of their
property while they are gone and physically
inspect the outside of any buildings to
make sure that no one has entered illegally or defaced
property, and note the time and date
completed. Enlisting the help of the police department
is not a guarantee against loss, theft,
damage or vandalism. However, it can be useful as a
deterrent to anyone who may be considering their
home for criminal purposes.
Residents may stop by the Public Safety Building
and fill out the Security Check form to receive
this free service. Click

for a printable house check form.
Bike Registration
The Thomas Township Police Department also provides free bicycle
registration. Due to
the ever-present possibility of theft and the high cost to replace a
stolen bike, township
residents are strongly encouraged to register their bikes. To register a
bike, you may
either bring it in or have the make, model, color and serial number
available at the time
of registration. Click
here to print the bike registration form.
